Well Being Leader Update
Wow the end of Week 9 already!
As we lead into Easter I thought I would give you a few updates of what we are doing ‘Wellbeing’ Wise.
Children’s University is up and running and many students are getting their hours filled in quickly. Don’t forget the online portal where you can search up learning destinations and complete online activities.
Room 7 continues to be a supported alternative play space at Lunch times for most of the week and many students are becoming quite adept at building trains, playing board games and solving the wooden and metal puzzles.
We are continuing to practice Interoception in our learning spaces and are working towards promoting greater student agency and a deeper sense of inclusion over the rest of the year.
Now that we are well into the term, we are looking to start some small Social Emotional focus groups among some of our younger students. These will commence in Term 2.
Breakfast Club is now operating every school day and it’s important to say a huge thankyou to all our incredible volunteers who make this community offering possible. The students’ now make sure they are early enough for Milo!
Let’s me finish by wishing everyone a safe Easter Break and may your family traditions and or celebrations be special.
Till next time,
Bronte Stanford
