Wednesday Week 2 the MALPA Students went to Calvary Hospital for a tour. Students got the opportunity to meet with Doctor Sharad to learn about what it takes to be a doctor. He gave them some important information about reading medicine labels and left them with inspiring take home messages. 

Students learnt about the hospitality side of the hospital from Tony and what it takes to make sure all the patients are given fresh healthy meals everyday. The students loved the tour of the kitchen and enjoyed meeting the Chef.

Students enjoyed a delicious lunch from the kitchen before being given a lesson about basic first aid and CPR. Thank you to Calvary Adelaide, Belinda, the kitchen staff, nurses and doctors for having us and answering all our questions.
