At Le Fevre Primary, we as a whole staff committed to train in the Berry Street Education Model. This supports all students in building strong connections and to become the best learner they can be. In the first 2 weeks of school, we ran the 'Striving for Success' program which is designed to help set up strong expectations and routines and incorporate different elements from the Berry Street Model.

One element that all classes have implemented is a tool called a ‘Ready to Learn Scale’. These scales help students to manage and identify their emotions and feelings and use learnt strategies to help get back into a ‘ready to learn state’.
