On Monday, students from Rooms 10 and 11 went on an exciting excursion to the Road Safety Centre. With the help of Police Officer Rhys and his sidekick, Police Dog Jeff, students learned all about how to use roads safely.

Students learnt the important curb-side routine — Stop, Look, Listen, Think — which helps keep everyone safe when crossing roads. The highlight of the day was when students were fitted with a helmet and had the opportunity to ride bikes on the mock roads, complete with road signs and crossings.

After this, we went for a play at the playground, where students enjoyed some free time before heading back to school. It was a fun and educational day that helped build students' confidence and understanding of how to stay safe when out and about in the community.
