As Term 1 2023 comes to a close, I have taken time to reflect on some substantial achievements and highlights.
We have been busy with a range of events and activities throughout the Term.
This has included:
- Acquaintance Night
- Governing Council AGM
- Harmony Day
- SAPSASA District Athletics and Swimming Carnivals
- SAPSASA Softball Championships
- Shark Cup – Baseball and Softball
- Parent –Teacher interviews
- NAPLAN
Farewell
I would like to acknowledge Kelly Jones who will taking accouchement leave starting next Term. We wish her all the best with the birth of her next child. Kelly has been backfilling our Well-being position during Term 1 and has been our Literacy Coordinator for the past year.
We are currently in the process to appoint a new Well-being Leader for the next 3 years.
Outstanding Achievement Awards – Term 1
At the end of each term, two students from each class are selected by their teacher to receive the Principal’s Outstanding Achievement Award for demonstrating the school values of Respect, Responsibility and Effort. The winners for this term are:

Along with all the staff, I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable two weeks with your children and we look forward to working with you next term.

On Wednesday, girls from Year 5 & 6 went on a bus to Seaton High School to compete in the Shark Cup softball competition.
We were broken up in to 2 groups because other schools had pulled out and they needed more teams. When we got there we went for a run and did some stretches to warm up for the games. Our coaches were Luca and Maddie, they did a really great job of making sure we had fun and were safe.
Team 1 played 3 games and won all of them! Team 2 played 2 games and won 1. We are really proud of our efforts and results. It was a super fun day!
Congratulations to Team 1 who brought home the Shark Cup Champions Trophy!
