Dear Families
It’s been a really busy last few weeks. All families will receive report cards on Thursday next week. If you have any concerns please take the opportunity to discuss this with the class teacher.
We welcome a number of new students to our school who have enrolled in the last few weeks. Thank you to the students in the various classes who have supported and made them feel welcome.
Camps
Year 3 students will get the opportunity to participate in a 1 night/1 day camp at AFL MAX.
Classes will attend the camp from Tuesday 2nd September – Wednesday 3rd September (Term 3, Week 7).
Further information will be distributed once numbers are confirmed. It’s great to provide these opportunities to our students and be received in such a positive manner.
Facilities
We have finally installed the new drink fountain next to the canteen. This was partially funded by winning a competition held by Port Plaza in 2024. It looks fantastic. Thanks to everyone who contributed to supporting our school at Port Plaza.
Next week we have the opportunity to move new furniture and resources into our new learning spaces in building 3. Students will not be able to access the building until next term, however the year 4-6 teachers will be busy setting up.
This is a great space for our older learners. Staff will be working with our students about the values and expectations that will be required when they move in.
We expect the lift and the main entrance to building 3 to be available when school returns in Term 3.
We can’t wait to open the doors and for you all to see the amazing learning spaces we have created.
2026 Reception Enrolments
Le Fevre Peninsula Primary School has started the process of planning for 2026.
